19TH ASIAN GAMES HANGZHOU 2022
It was with disappointment and regret that the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) announces that Malaysia will not be sending a team to compete in the Asian Games 2022 golf competition, to be held from 28 September to 1 October 2023 in the West Lake International Golf Course, Hangzhou, China.
This decision, confirmed by the Asian Games selection committee, consisting of officials of the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) and the Kementerian Belia dan Sukan (KBS), stipulates that Malaysia will only send players ranked in the top 8 in Asia. This edition, participating countries can field either amateur or professional players or a combination of both.
