This weekend should have marked the climax to the 2020 Asia-Pacific Open Golf Championship Diamond Cup Golf at Sobu Country Club in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
Sadly, due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, this historic event thatis co-sanctioned by the Japan Golf Tour Organisation and the Asian Tour was cancelled.
Nonetheless, officials from the Japan Golf Association are confident that the event with which the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation has been
inextricably linked for more than five decades will return ‘better and stronger’ in 2021.
