FUNCTIONS & AUTHORITIES

• The Rules & Amateur Status Subcommittees play crucial roles within the association in promoting and encouraging the pursuit of the game of golf and managing the amateur status of players. 
• Provide effective leadership by setting strategic aims, ensuring necessary resources are in place, interpreting and making decisions on the Rules of Golf, monitoring expenditure, conducting seminars on the Rules, and performing other delegated functions. 
• Provide effective leadership by managing amateur status, fostering relationships with affiliates, monitoring tournaments for breaches of amateur status, scrutinizing performance, and ensuring obligations are met. 
• Work within frameworks of controls to uphold values, standards, and obligations to members and the golfing community.
