On 12 July 2024, the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) and the Singapore Golf Association (SGA) signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Seletar Country Club, Singapore. This significant event took place in conjunction with the ASEAN Golf Federation Annual General Meeting.

Representing MGA, Vice President Mr. Teoh Piek Kee, and representing SGA, President Mr. Tan Chong Huat, put pen to paper, marking the beginning of a promising collaboration aimed at fostering stronger ties and mutual growth in the golf community.

This MOU will see joint retreats, training camps for high-performance players, friendly matches, and a golf reciprocity program, enriching the golfing experience and unity between Malaysia and Singapore.
