KARAMBUNAI TO PLAY HOST TO THE 100PLUS MALAYSIAN JUNIOR OPEN 2010 The 100Plus Malaysian Junior Open 2010 will be held at the 18-hole, par 72 championship course of Nexus Golf Resort in Karambunai from 16-19 September 2010. HANDICAPS FOR NON-MEMBERS The Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) is pleased to announce that the National Handicapping System/USGA Handicap & Slope Rating Sub-Committee has set up 'NHS Golf Clubs' in accordance to the USGA Handicap System Manual to provide handicaps to non-members at a fee of RM120.00 per annum and junior members registered in MGA free of charge. |
ETIQA MALAYSIA CUP 2010 MGA will be organizing the Etiqa Malaysia Cup 2010, an inaugural tournament which is the brainchild of Datuk Robin Loh, President of Malaysian Golf Association and sponsored by Etiqa. It will be held at the Seri Selangor Golf Club from July 20-23. The tournament is held to create more world standard tournaments in the country in line with the MGA's program towards Olympic 2016.

MOHD ROZI RETAINED HOME CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE The 2-handicapper Mohd Rozi Mat Yusoff representing Kelantan Golf and Country Club has defeated the rest of his competition at his home club for the Kelantan Amateur Open 2010 which was concluded on July 3rd 2010. He carded 75, 74, 72 which brings him to a total of 5-over par 221 for a win throughout the 3-day tournament. |
