A Momentous Achievement for Mirabel Ting!
Congratulations to Mirabel Ting, Malaysia’s top amateur golfer, currently ranked 6th in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, for being selected to join the elite 2025 Women’s Asia Pacific Team competing for the Patsy Hankins Trophy! This prestigious biennial tournament brings together the best amateur talents from Asia-Pacific and Europe, as both teams battle for the coveted trophy at Al Hamra Golf Club in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, from January 6-10, 2025.
The Patsy Hankins Trophy, first played in 2016, honors the legacy of the late Patsy Hankins, a dedicated leader in women’s golf from New Zealand. This unique event has witnessed notable players like Hannah Green and Yuka Saso, who later rose to become LPGA major champions. With five days of intense competition across match play formats, including fourball, foursomes, and singles, the tournament offers invaluable experience and a chance to cement her place in Asia-Pacific’s golf history.
We are beyond proud of Mirabel, representing both Malaysia and Asia Pacific on this global stage. Let’s cheer her on as she steps into this incredible chapter! 🌟
