MGA's national player, Mohamad Iylia Jamil claimed his first state amateur open for the year after the successful conclusion of the Perlis Amateur Open 2010.

Mohd Saiful Saedin, member of Putra Golf Club jumped to the top of the leaderboard after Day 2 of the Perlis Amateur Open 2010 with consistent play, an identical 1-over par 73 for round 1 and round 2 for a 2-over par 146 tournament total.

Ashraf Ahmad from KGNS took the opening round lead of the Perlis Amateur Open 2010 with even par 72. The tournament is currently underway at Putra Golf Club, Arau, Perlis from March 26-28.

The Perlis Amateur Open will be held at Kelab Golf Putra from March 26-28, 2010. The tournament is open to male amateurs with handicap 12 and below for the Open Event and handicap 13-18 for the Intermediate Event.
