DARULAMAN SET TO HOST THE BHi NATIONAL INTER-CLUB TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 2010

This year, Darulaman Golf & Country Club has been given the honour to host the BHi National Inter-Club Team Championship from August 3-4, 2010.

Conducted by the Malaysian Golf Association, the Championship is open to all affiliates of MGA who are in good standing order. Every affiliate can send a team of 3 male players who are bona fide members of the clubs. The National Interclub Team Championship began in 1994 with the first edition at the Royal Selangor Golf Club. Tun Abdullah Salleh who was the Vice President of the Malaysian Golf Association from 1985 to 1997 was the driving force behind the championship. Tun Abdullah envisioned the National Interclub Team Championship as an encouragement for clubs to produce better golfers.

Lasy year, Kelab Darul Ehsan won the championship followed by KGSAAS and Royal Kedah GC. The individual title went to Peter Chun of KDE with scores of 153.
